Tool #4

We can use Google Docs to share our documents-especially the newsletter. No longer do we have to email it back and forth to each other. It's a great way to connect with my team quickly and to avoid all the paper piles.
The Google reader is a good way to keep up with the blogs I am following. Once school starts, we can put blogs on there for the kids and that way they can quickly see new updates.

  1. First let me say I look forward to working with you next year. I also looked at Google Docs and was pleased to see that you can create spreadsheets to be shared. This could help a lot with keeping track of who has turned in permission slip forms for field trips and similar lists that we need to keep and share with each other.

  2. I am also thrilled that we can now more easily share our grade level newsletter. Also with teaching both fourth and fifth grade, using Google Docs will be very beneficial and help share information across grade levels.

  3. I created a survey for students in Google Docs to share how comfortable they are with multiplication facts, and where they felt they were. Check it out.
